Along with the wonderful photo, Noha sent in this report:
Scott is in physical therapy three hours a day which leave him exhausted but determined to meet the doctors’ Aug 28th deadline, the date they are expecting to remove the cast off his leg. When he is not in therapy, he is resting or watching the Olympics, reading and responding to e-mails or checking out the blog and thanking his lucky star for the incredible love and support that everyone is sending his way.

Good reporting job, Noha! I've been negligent in not thanking the Long Beach Fire Dept, who pulled me from my crumpled rental car after plunging 50' off the 405 fwy. Without them I wouldn't be here today!
Hey, Scott!
Great to see you blogging here.
Now, when do we get to see a picture of you in one of the "this sucks" hats or shirts or holding a mug?
Hey Scott,
Not a day goes by that I don't check in to see how you're doing. We got back from the vineyard and the Black Dog has added a new flavor to their dog treats. I don't want to bring them over til you're home, unless you feel the duo could benefit from a treat since I'm sure they miss you and Jen like crazy. Hope to see you soon! Love, Linda and George
We also check Scott's blog every day-
Scott and Jen, we miss you so much and look forward to your homecoming-glad it isn't now, as the elevator in 318 is broken! But when you and your appetites return, a feast awaits...
(Just saw Buzz, Jeb and the Trixter-they're hangin' in)
love from the 'hood,
Ann & Ahmad
Get well soon. Need another book from you. Love the T-Shirts.
Last week (27th August) I received an email from Scott and he seems to be recovering pretty well so far/ Here what he told me: "Today the cast was removed from my leg. On Saturday I'll leave the hospital and go to my sister's house. I'll be there for four weeks of physical therapy before returning to New York."
So, if everything when well Scott is now at her sister's house. Really good news!
